If there’s one thing that my time at The Grief Directory has taught me, it’s that the world works like a chain of dominoes. When people are hurt, and the first domino topples, it never goes without consequence. The chain surely, most certainly, falls in the end. People that the person knew are affected, their loss an everlasting scar on the psyche. In the end, I’m glad that I received the opportunity to volunteer at the Grief Directory, and I believe that the time I spent here has made me a more aware person.
